Who provides the music therapy sessions?

Sessions are provided by independent, board-certified music therapists. Peyton Music Therapy helps families get matched with a therapist and handles billing and administrative support. Your therapist manages clinical decisions, individualized goals, session methods, and scheduling directly with your family.

What does it cost?

The initial assessment is $175. Ongoing sessions are $115 and include 40 minutes of music therapy, with an optional 20 minutes caregiver consultation.

Do you accept Arizona ESA funds?

Arizona ESA funds may be used for eligible music therapy services, including assessments and ongoing sessions. Eligibility and documentation requirements apply, and families confirm that their expenses qualify under the current Arizona ESA program. How do you decide if music therapy is a good fit?

Your therapist reviews fit individually during the initial assessment. Music therapy is not right for everyone, and if it isn't the right support for your family they will tell you.

Does music therapy replace other therapy or medical care?

No. Music therapy is a support that works alongside the medical and therapeutic care a client already receives. It does not replace that care and it does not treat or cure a diagnosis.
